Hi Ravi,
We have indeed lost touch since the last time we met.
To be honest with you , I did come to Nashik 2/3 times after that , but he trips were so hectic , starting from Delhi in the morning - Mumbai -Nashik by road - and then back to Delhi the same night !!!!!
I always kept postponing meeting you with this anticipation that the next time I will stay over at Nashik and meet you as we will have a lot to catch up from where we left!!!!!!!!
Any way , next time I am there , we will definitely call on you - even if its over a quick cup of coffee.
Whose the gentleman who was visiting your plant ???
Your expressions are like Mr Dembi has suddenly walked in and and you are without your T Sheets !!!!!!

Dear friends,
Do you remember the time when we came to Kashmir and got this bug of learning Kashmiri Language. We tried every means to pick up a word here or a phrase there. I remember Ravi Pichaya saying ' SU KAISH ' or something similar, picked up from a radio advertisement. Never knew though, what it meant. We made parodies, imitated the song from Srinagar TV and what not. The problem was that our learning as not systematic.
Listed below are a few phrases in English / Chinese.See how easy it is !!!!!
Read aloud the Chinese part à NOT INSERTED

Hi Raju,
"SU KAISH" .....Yes this used to come on Radio Kashmir. I think it was an ad for a Pesticide
or something to do with preservation of Apples in Orchards. The Chinese phrases are funny !!
With Best Regards
Ravi

Hi Tripathi
How could you forget "Wharee Choo" and "wasta".!! I thought these were the first two words you guys picked up.
I also can't understand "Su Kaish" . It doesn't look like a Kashmiri word unless it is a Noun.

Hi Anurag. It's great to be among all of you after such a long time. I have been in Noida for the past almost 10 years now. I am working as General Manager in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. - my first job and still continuing with it - (other companies find it difficult to take me now). My wife, Anju, is a home maker. I have two daughters - elder one, Apurva, is doing her B. Tech in Electronics & Communications at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT); the younger one, Prakriti is studying in 11th. I am in touch with Romesh Raina, Rajiv D Kaul, Kuldeep Kaul and Vinod Wali. Of course, Sanjay Kaul and Arvind Kaul do remain in touch thru e-mail. Recently I met Vimal Razdan at Jammu.
This group is dominated by Mechanical Branch. Where are the civil guys (pun intended)? - I thought we made the bulk of the batch. It has been fun reading all the mails of this group, and especially looking at the photographs of some of you with your families. A few photographs of mine with my family are attached - these pictures were taken during our recent trip to Kashmir - it may give you a nostalgic feeling.
